Additional Certificates |
In addition to receiving graduating certificates, the student's will also receive certificates from several product knowledge schools.
These classes cover various products used in the beauty profession and certificates are awarded by the companies who conduct these courses. |

Code Of Practice |
The Academy has a code of practice which all students receive on enrolment. This code of practice is an operational statement by which students, are enrolled and receive tuition.
It creates a ready reference of what the student can expect and what the Academy will provide. |

First Aid |
It is the student's responsibility to gain a First aid certificate, at the students own cost, by completion of their course.
This applies to both On-campus and Distance Education students. |

Professional Association Accreditation And Membership |
The Academy is an Accredited School with the Association of Professional Aestheticians of Australia (APAA). The APAA was established with a 'Constitution' and a 'Code of Ethical Practice' in October 1957.
Today, with representation in every State, the APAA is recognised for its commitment to education and raising the standards within its membership so that the public can be assured they are in the hands of competent professionals. |

| As new skin care ranges are introduced to the beauty industry in Australia, the Gold Coast Training Academy endeavours to conduct workshops on those products that are considered to enhance the career prospects of the students. |

| The Gold Coast Training Academy has had long standing relationships with professional salon product companies as well as supporting local industry with Australian made aromatherapy products. |

Salon Experience |
| Students nearing completion of their course are required to undergo salon experience in their final weeks. This enables the student, through practical involvement and observation, to further develop and consolidate the skills and knowledge gained during their course. Students gain valuable experience in an established salon under the supervision of a fully qualified Beauty Therapist.. |

The Gold Coast Training Academy recognises that Student care is equally as important as the process of learning.
We have instituted a wide variety of facilities and assistance to ensure that the student feels totally comfortable both with the teaching process and our student services.

Counselling
Counselling Services are available for students who, at times during their studies, feel that they may require further assistance with personal concerns.
Teaching Support
The Academy addresses a Student's need to overcome a temporary learning problem. Our Lecturers are available to guide the students into extra learning areas so that the total objective being sought is achieved. This support is important so that students who encounter problems during a particular course can feel confident that they are understood and help is available.
Job Placement Services
The Academy has been established for 15 years on the Gold Coast and both Principals have been actively involved in the Beauty Industry for over 30 years. During this time associations have been formed with salons throughout Australia. The Gold Coast Training Academy, through its quality of training, has established a high reputation and can assist graduating students into employment upon completion of their course.
Medical Services
Medical services are available with the family medical practice located in the same building as the Academy.
