Patricia Cook - Principal / Lecturer (Tweed Heads Campus)
 
Patricia obtained her Diploma of Beauty Therapy in 1979 in Canberra. She then moved to Port Macquarie where she owned a very successful beauty salon for ten years. Patricia completed post graduate and advanced courses in Nail Technology, Diathermy and Electrolysis and holds numerous product knowledge certificates. She has certificates in Instructional Skills, Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Certificate III in Workplace Assessment.

Patricia, as partner in the college, has been teaching beauty therapy for 11 years and acrylic nails for 16 years. Patricia has served on the National Committee of the Association of Professional Aestheticians of Australia and during this period held the portfolio of National Education Officer for four years. She is active in the quest to raise the level of training and to provide on going educational workshops to keep abreast of the latest techniques, this has involved regular trips overseas to examine first hand the evolving changes to her chosen fields of expertise.

In 2002 Patricia launched her product range "dermaessentials" onto the market. This product is an aroma therapeutic natural skin care range and is used in many salons throughout Australia.
