Deby has held a Diploma in Beauty
Therapy since 1981 and in the same year also attained Diplomas in Swedish and
Remedial Massage. In 1990, Deby furthered her career by attaining a Diploma of
Aromatherapy.
In July 2001, Deby travelled to France for a training course at the Provence
Aromatherapy Retreat. It was conducted by world renowned medical aromatherapist
Dr Daniel Penoel and holistic aromatherapist Robbi Zeck ND, as well as many
other experts in the field of aromatherapy.
On her return from France, Deby established Aromatic Aromathology Therapies
(AAT), an association for Aromatherapists passionate about their profession and
the direction of their industry. The AAT assists with the ongoing education of
local Gold Coast Aromatherapists to maintain their rating with such
associations as the International Federation of Aromatherapists (IFA).
As well as having achieved her Diplomas, Deby is an accredited member of the
Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS), International Federation of
Aromatherapists (IFA), International Federation of Reflexologists (IFR), and
the Australian Aromatic Medical Association (AAMA). |
